Hello and welcome to the wonderful world of Killer Bunnies®! On behalf of Creative Team Alpha and Playroom Entertainment, we would like to thank you for your purchase and assure you that no actual bunnies were harmed in any way during the creation or production of this game. The Ultimate Odyssey is the third of many Killer Bunnies® adventures and this is edition Alpha Two of the rules.
How The Game Works
The basic strategy of the game is to gain Civilization (or Civ) Points by building up a collection of creatures (such as bunnies) in The Bunny Circle and structures (such as cities) in The Center Circle. Another strategy is for players to steal Civ Points by destroying their opponents’ bunnies and cities. Both strategies can get vengeful, nasty, painful and snarky, but most of all, it’s really fun! The first player to reach a Total Civ Point score of 60 is the winner!
A Turn, A Round
During a turn, each player may play a single card in one of four ways. The four options are:
a) Flip and play the TOP RUN card.
b) Flip and discard the TOP RUN card if the player cannot use it, or does not wish to use it.
c) Flip and save the TOP RUN card, but only if it is a RESOURCE, SPECIAL or VERY SPECIAL card.
d) Play a SPECIAL card directly from your five-card hand. This leaves the TOP and BOTTOM RUN cards in place.
A round is completed when every player has had one turn. Players take their turns one at a time, and in a clockwise direction.
Hello and welcome to the wonderful world of Killer Bunnies®! On behalf of Creative Team Alpha and Playroom Entertainment, we would like to thank you for your purchase and assure you that no actual bunnies were harmed in any way during the creation or production of this game. Heroes vs. Villains is the next Killer Bunnies® adventure and this is edition Alpha One of the rules.
How The Game Works
The basic strategy of the game is to be the first player to have 4 bunnies in The Bunny Circle and to build 4 cities in The City Circle. That’s 4 to score!
Unwrap all of the cards, shuffle them together thoroughly and place them face down in the center of your table. This pile of cards is called the Draw Pile. Since all players will use it, think of it as a community Draw Pile.
Rule Notes For Casual Play
The cards are written in general terms for both Casual and Tournament Play. When reading the text on the cards, try to remember that:
- Tournament Play = Casual Play
- creatures = bunnies
- structures = cities
- The Center Circle = The City Circle
- his / owner’s / player’s Draw Pile = community Draw Pile
- his / owner’s / player’s Discard Pile = community Discard Pile
A weapon card refers to any card with the word ‘weapon’ in the title such as a Ground Weapon, City Weapon or Ground Weapon Runner. Even though they cause damage, neither Disaster cards nor Fargans are considered to be a weapon.
A creature ‘in play’ means a bunny in either The Bunny Circle or a bunny in a city in The City Circle.
All references to Civ Points should be ignored.
