The best A Series Green card is Transplanted Troop.

To make Transplanted Troop work best, you have to have an opponent with a city that has only one bunny occupant.  By placing Transported Troop on that single bunny you force all players to roll their d12 and the high roller gets the bunny.  Here’s the catch, the card states that the winner of the bunny may place it anywhere in The Bunny Circle.  That means that regardless of whether the original owner of the bunny rolls the highest number or not, that bunny is leaving the city.  Even if the original owner gets the bunny back, he cannot reclaim the city until his turn.  By then, someone else will surely have taken the now empty city (probably the player who used the Transplanted Troop card).

The best A Series Orange card is Resource Discourse.

To make Resource Discourse work, you simply have to wait until one of your adjacent opponents has three or more bunnies in The Bunny Circle.  Actually, any amount of bunnies will work, but I usually wait for three or more.  Then Resource Discourse will allow you to get a number of Resource cards from your Draw Pile equal to the number of bunnies that your opponent has in The Bunny Circle.  This will give you a huge Resource advantage allowing you to use cards with a higher Card Cost mush earlier in the game than your opponents.

The best A Series Blue card is Bumble Crumble.

To make Bumble Crumble work, you will need a city in The Center Circle and at least one opponent with a city as well.  This card is a bit of a risk since someone has to lose a city and its occupants in the process when it’s played.  Also, as the player of the card, even if your opponent loses his city, you still won’t collect the Civ Points for it.  But the odds are definitely in the player’s favor, and it will set your opponent back on his total Civ Point score.  In case you didn’t recognize it, that’s Carl Sagan with a floating piece of apple pie on the card.

The best A Series Red card is Recycle.

To make Recycle work, wait for an opponent to have two or more cities in The Center Circle.  Playing Recycle on this opponent will force him to shuffle twice the number of his saved Resource cards back into his Draw Pile as the number of cities that he has out.  Two cities out will mean a loss of four saved Resource cards, three cities will mean six Resource and so on.  This can seriously set an opponent back, and may cause him to discard his Top and Bottom Run cards if he no longer has enough saved Resource to play them.

The best A Series Violet card is Wrong Address.

To make Wrong Address work, look for an opponent with at least two cities in The Center Circle.  If one of those cities has only one bunny occupant, then you are ready to go.  By playing the Wrong Address card on the city with only one bunny occupant, you are allowed to move him over to another of the opponent’s cities.  This leaves the first city empty on your turn!  And if a city is empty on your turn , then you may steal it, and make it your own.
