Once each turn, the player with Empress Arachnia in play may pay one White and three Land Resource cards to create a Level 1 Ardent Spider and to place it into The Bunny Circle. An Ardent Spider may be sacrificed to increase the level of any weapon launched by the player by (+1) level. The maximum number of Ardent Spiders that can exist in play at any time is six.

Once each turn, the player with Empress Arachnia in play may pay one White and three Land Resource cards to create a Level 1 Ardent Spider and to place it into The Bunny Circle. An Ardent Spider may be sacrificed by the player at any time to increase the level of any weapon launched by the player by (+1) level. Players may choose to use all or some of their Ardent Spiders in play to increase the level of a single weapon. Although Ardent Spiders will remain in place, their power (increasing the level of any weapon launched by (+1)) does not work if no player has an Empress Arachnia in play. The maximum number of Ardent Spiders that can exist in play at any time is six even if more than one player has an Empress Arachnia in play.

Ardent Spiders must remain in The Bunny Circle until used by the player who created them and may be attacked by any opponent using weapons that target a creature. Although Ardent Spiders are worth 0 Civ Points in The Bunny Circle to the player, opponents who target and kill an Ardent Spider add (+1) Civ Point to their d20 die.
