Very soon both Killer Bunnies Odyssey and our new game Killer Bunnies Conquest will introduce a new condition icon, the Pink Rectangular Box with a Pink Circle. As you may recall, when a Pink Rectangular Box appears on the left border of a card, it means that the player must have a bunny in The Bunny Circle to play the card. This new icon will appear only on Special cards. If a player wishes to save (and keep) these Special cards then he must have (and maintain) a bunny in The Bunny Circle. If at any time, the player does not have a bunny in The Bunny Circle, then any Special card with this new icon is immediately discarded.
Hello, Seasoned Bunny Fans! As more of you become experts in the game we must take a moment to acknowledge the fact that some folks are still just beginners. If you have one of these “Bunny new-bies” in your group, then please be nice to them (until they make their first kill that is, then let them have it!)
Also, if you are looking for some suggestions on how to get players ‘up to speed’ with the rest of us here is some advice:
Start with just the Blue and Yellow Starter Deck (didn’t we all) and just 12 Carrots. I just feel it’s best not to overwhelm anyone the first time out. I have written some playing suggestions as nuggets of advice and quotations. Please use these only as a guideline. I know that you can probably teach them well, but here are just a few things that I have found to help out.
Hello and welcome to the wonderful world of Killer Bunnies®! On behalf of Creative Team Alpha and Playroom Entertainment, we would like to thank you for your purchase and assure you that no actual bunnies were harmed in any way during the creation or production of this game. The Quest for the Magic Carrot is the first of three Killer Bunnies® adventures and this is edition Zeta One of the rules.
PLAY IMMEDIATELY CARDS
- If a player draws a PLAY IMMEDIATELY (Terrible Misfortune) card during play, then he must stop the game, announce that he has the card, and kill one of his own bunnies in The Bunny Circle.
- If a player draws a PLAY IMMEDIATELY card but has no bunny in The Bunny Circle, then he must place the card on an opponent’s bunny in The Bunny Circle causing it to die (discarded). This is also true if the player’s only bunny in The Bunny Circle is protected by The Heavenly Halo.
